Blog Newbie at the Ready...

So here I am, joining the blogging world even though I'm not the best with these things.Facebook fan for life if you get me:) I am studying Make Up Artistry at the mo so said I'd start sharing some info.Big into fashion also so just going to post a bit of everything.

We have started recreating make up looks from the 20's, 30's and 40's.The glamour back then was amazing! Today we focused on the 40's , a look that includes a natural looking base, full arched eyebrows, a matt shadow normally in muted grays and brows, the flicked eyeliner look on the top lid and lashings of mascara.Blusher was applied on cheekbones blended out towards temple.Lips were in shades of oranges and reds with a rounded effect on top lid.
Here is my take on the look.......

Obviously there was no hair done here which I think completes the look but just think of Pearl Harbour and The Notebook.Headscarfs were popular due to the war as women that worked in factories wore them.
